The Women's Engineering Program (WEP) offers social, academic, and professional support services. In conjunction with Cal Poly's nationally acclaimed Society of Women Engineers (SWE), WEP hosts a wide variety of activities that build an exceptionally strong community for women engineers and also provide opportunities for leadership training.

Professional job placement activities include an annual banquet with industry representatives, resume seminars, and professional speakers.

WEP also sponsors many K-12 outreach activities that expose pre-college students to women role models and introduce engineering as a career choice.

See the Women's Engineering Program website and Society of Women Engineers homepage for more information.

“I worked on PolyHouse, applying what we learned about project management to redesign the home of a disabled couple.

Over a weekend, I spent 36 hours straight at the site. It involved intense teamwork and gave me a lot of hands-on knowledge. The experience was extremely rewarding!
