Blended BS+MS Engineering Programs

Blended BS+MS engineering degree programs are offered by the following departments:

Each of these blended programs provides an accelerated path to the simultaneous conferral of both BS and MS degrees in the particular discipline.

  • BS Computer Engineering with MS Electrical Engineering, MS Computer Science, or MS Engineering (Biomedical)
  • BS Electrical Engineering with MS Engineering (Materials)
  • BS General Engineering with MS Engineering (Biochemical, Bioengineering, or Biomedical)
  • BS Industrial or BS Manufacturing Engineering with MS Engineering (Integrated Technology Management)
  • BS Materials Engineering with MS Engineering (Biomedical)

Other blended BS+MS combinations may be arranged by agreement between the departments offering the bachelor's and master's degree programs. For further information and assistance, contact the graduate coordinator of the master's program desired.

Admission requirements for blended programs vary. Some blended programs are honors programs with higher admission standards than the corresponding stand-alone MS programs.

I hope to use my general engineering degree in those areas because renewable energy is vital to improving our environment.
